Comments: Saw Frank in person twice, at King Georges Hall in Blackburn in 1986, and then many years later at the Yorkshire House in Lancaster. Both were great nights. Even met the great Mr. Sievey, after the Lancaster gig. Great memories, such a sad loss. Good luck with the unveiling. Wish I could be there.

Comments: Brilliant! But I will miss Frank very much. Unique. I think you should also put a big wheel (or little wheel, I'm not bothered really) with a big image of Frank's eye, you know like the fridge magnet, on the side. It would be called The Frank's Eye (or The Little Frank's Eye) and be in Salford Quays or scaring little children at local fetes and fairs. Get the Frank's World DVD if you haven't already, it's really fantastic. Oh yes it is, you know it is.

Comments: Definitely splendid to remember our very own "What The One?" , Mr Frank Sidebottom with his very own statue (I trust said statue will be entirely composed of bronze plated cardboard). Best of luck with everything,
Max Quirk x

Comments: I am very sorry to discover that Mr Sidebottom has passed on to the great garden shed in the sky. I worked on his very funny show at Yorkshire Television in late 80's and I can say that he was a gent and very funny off camera also.
For the show we built a new shed for Frank although like Roald Dal the real one was back in his mum's garden.
I think some of this must be a Northern thing, and I still celebrate the equally wonderful stable mate of Frank's singer / songwriter John Shuttleworth from Sheffield South Yorkshire. I was playing one of his BASF cassette tapes last night - on the Chrome setting of course with Dolby digital.
Not forgetting, Mrs Merton and of course Brian Potter, owner / manager of the wonderful Phoenix Club.
Make then smile up there Frank
Best
