Comments: what a great achievement from the originators of this fantastic idea of a statue, all your hard work for the last 3 years must be applauded for the determination that Timperley's finest will not be forgotten. Well done for cementing (haha) Frank & Timperley firmly on the map

Comments: I think the statue looks SUPERB. I would love to come from Australia for the unveiling but it's not to be. However this one attraction has made me actively plan for a visit to the UK soon. More than the Olympics, it's the start of a Frank-driven tourism boost!

Comments: The statue looks fabulous, though the train fare up to Manchester for the unveiling is bobbins.
Pity the statue can't go on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square for a while. It would look really good, you know it would, it really would
Thank you!

Comments: Saw Frank in person twice, at King Georges Hall in Blackburn in 1986, and then many years later at the Yorkshire House in Lancaster. Both were great nights. Even met the great Mr. Sievey, after the Lancaster gig. Great memories, such a sad loss. Good luck with the unveiling. Wish I could be there.

Comments: Brilliant! But I will miss Frank very much. Unique. I think you should also put a big wheel (or little wheel, I'm not bothered really) with a big image of Frank's eye, you know like the fridge magnet, on the side. It would be called The Frank's Eye (or The Little Frank's Eye) and be in Salford Quays or scaring little children at local fetes and fairs. Get the Frank's World DVD if you haven't already, it's really fantastic. Oh yes it is, you know it is.

Comments: Definitely splendid to remember our very own "What The One?" , Mr Frank Sidebottom with his very own statue (I trust said statue will be entirely composed of bronze plated cardboard). Best of luck with everything,
Max Quirk x
